A little 'Marshall Will + Holly' history:

Both formerly of the JFree Band, Julie Damsky (bassist) and Roger Gore (drummer) were left trying to fill some big shoes to replace the former singer/songwriter/vocalist and founder of the JFree Band, Jeff Gore. So Julie cowboy'd up and took over the lead vocal spot, brushed up on her rusty guitar skills and she and Roger set out to find a bassist to complete the new lineup. As fate would have it, one night at a Hindenberg show at PJ's in Mahopac, NY, Roger met bassist Tom Sprock, formerly of SugarGrass and Whiskey Junction, and immediately sparks flew as the chemistry between these new band mates was forming. After only one jam, it was obvious to all three that the missing piece to the puzzle was found and the band 'Marshall Will + Holly' was born!

Marshall Will + Holly is a powerful trio rocking out songs from vintage REM, Pearl Jam, Jefferson Airplane, Neil Young, Hole, Alice in Chains, Bush, Smashing Pumpkins, CSNY and more. The band's blend of edgy rock, melodic punch, and soulful groove leaves audiences in a drunken stupor. Disclaimer: The audience usually drinks, so the drunken stupor may be due to alcohol consumption. But they really do like the band in most cases.
